Visual Communications - AA
Associate of Arts Degree

Are you looking to change the face of communication, one brochure, one magazine ad, or one billboard at a time? Collins College's Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Communications can help get you ready to enter this exciting and continually changing field. In this program you can develop traditional and computer-driven design skills from project conceptualization to production techniques.

Visual Communications - BA
Bachelor of Arts Degree

Do you want to make an impact with your portfolio or interactive CD-ROM? Our Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Communications can help you build on what you have been taught. It begins the process of helping you refine your skills into those of a trained designer. The program emphasizes integrating technology and visual communication in multimedia projects and web design/programming.

Graphic Design
Bachelor of Arts Degree

Graphic Design is a harmonious blend of communication, commerce and art. It's used to sell products and services by way of branding, advertising and packaging. You can learn how to become a visual problem solver as you have an opportunity to refine and perfect your design skills in typography, color theory, digital production, empirical design and art direction through real world applications. Animation
Bachelor of Arts Degree

Animation is an artful blend of creative vision and information technology. Computer animators work in 3-D, bringing their characters and imagination to life through realistic subtleties and motion. Game Design
Bachelor of Arts Degree

The curriculum in our Game Design Program is designed to equip you with game essentials like C++, Java, 3ds max and AI (Artificial Intelligence) so you can make your quest-driven concept a game reality. Your education in Game Design can take you from game research and planning, character development and storytelling, all the way through level design, modeling programming and project management. It takes more than imagination to be a game designer, and we can help you to take your ideas from concept to completion and beyond.

Media Arts - AA
Associate of Arts Degree

Express your ideas in the intriguing world of celluloid and videotape. After having the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of screenwriting, pre- and post-production and non-linear editing, plus exploring lighting and audio for video and field production, you can demonstrate your talent in the form of videos you create from concept to final, edited composition. You should be prepared for entry-level career opportunities in television production, industrial video or production for Web casting.

Media Arts - BA
Bachelor of Arts Degree

After successfully completing our associate's degree program, you can advance your knowledge in the broadcast field and learn to tell a great story behind the lens of a camera. This practical, real-world curriculum focuses on the creative, technical and business aspects of the industry. You'll explore lighting, audio for video, television studio production and nonlinear editing. You'll work with industry-current programs like discreet® flame®, smoke® and combustion®, and have an opportunity to refine your skills on Avid Xpress® and move up to Avid® | DS HD. All with the goal of cultivating the knowledge, skills and experience to produce effective commercial presentations.

Interior Design
Bachelor of Arts Degree

The Interior Design program can prepare students for entry-level positions in the interior design industry. Students are expected to develop design concepts for interior spaces, and transform these concepts into practical, functional, and innovative environments that meet client needs. Architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design are used to develop new concepts and to help refine students' individual skills and talents. Building systems, regulations, and current business practices are taught to help prepare students for their career aspirations.

Personal Computer and Network Technolog
Associate of Science Degree

Collins College offers an Associate of Science Degree in Personal Computer and Network Technology, designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills essential in the computer and network technology field. This program offers a foundation of core classes in personal computer and local area network set-up, configuration upgrade, diagnosis and repair. These are concepts and technical skills necessary for entry-level professionals in the computer and network technology field.

Network Technology
Bachelor of Science Degree

After successfully completing the associate of science degree program in personal computer and network technology, you can further your training by achieving the Bachelor of Science Degree in Network Technology also offered at Collins College. Receive training in wireless technologies, SQL Server™ and configuration on the enterprise and how to manage projects in the IT industry. Have an opportunity to gain experience in creating large-scale network design, managing and executing these projects.
